Missha Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask Review

I was able to try out the Missha Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask for free through Skin 18 Blogger review program. (Will create a blog post to add more details about the program so keep a look out for that)  I received the Lemon,Bamboo,Green Tea, and Lentil Bean masks from the line to try out.

 Missha Pure Source Cell Sheet Masks are available in:

The masks are made with natural extracts and a compact cell fabric which is very effective at delivering maximum essence to the skin. The cell sheet is 100% cotton that is soft and will not irritate the skin.  The essence used is double fermented. They also contain Phytic Acid which is great for moisturizing.

Directions:
Best use is 2-3 times a week. Use after cleansing and toning the face. Leave mask on for 20 minutes and gently pat in remainder essence onto face and neck.

The masks were very gentle and the cell fabric was soft. They fit pretty well on my face and there was a lot of essence in the mask especially considering how light weight the masks feel! A little more below on each of the masks I received.

Lentil Bean:

The lentil bean one was really interesting because I have never seen a lentil mask before. I was surprised because I actually liked it a lot and it really soothed my skin.

 I love bamboo skin care products. I always have good results with bamboo in my skincare so this mask was a great pick for me.

Lemon is great for brighten the skin and complexion and this mask did a great job at that.

Green Tea

• Hydrates
• Calming
• Contains 210 mg pure green tea essence

Green tea is another one of my go to skincare ingredients. This mask is very soothing and you can see better skin after using.

This weeks Sunday Spotlight is focusing on a K Beauty skincare brand Urang. Urang is an amazing skincare company that incorporates aromatherapy into their products. Urang products average to be 89.3% Organic and 99.88% Natural. A couple years ago I really got into aromatherapy and I use it a lot in my daily routine. Aromatherapy has been having great mental benefits for me personally. It is truly wonderful how a scent can really help boost my mood and soothe anxiety. It is really great that Urang ties aromatherapy into skincare. Many of the essential oils that are used for aromatherapy have great skincare benefits as well. The Urang Vitamin Oil serum is a great multi use skincare product. I really enjoy that aromatherapy aspect of the oil and it definitely has a very strong scent from the essential oil ingredients. I really like that they use quality ingredients that are safe and mostly organic. The vitamin oil serum has myrrh and frankincense oils which are fantastic for use on skin. This product is not recommended for sensitive skin. Also some people do not like essential oils because they have a pretty potent scent so that is something to keep in mind as well. The serum is $57 which is very reasonable due to the quality organic ingredients and real frankincense oil is a more expensive oil as well which is one of the main ingredients in this.  A little goes a long way with a potent oil like this. It blends in very nicely and does not leave residue behind or an oily look to your face. I like that it absorbs so well. You can smell it after applying which to me was a nice relaxing benefit. I really do see improvement in my skin tone and my face look brighter.

🥀A lot of my favorite skin care items come from rose.  I still get acne on occasion and I am always looking for products to help.  The Brightening Blue Oil Serum includes the wonderful benefit of aromatherapy with the scent of German Chamomile which is a very soothing and calming scent. This is also what gives the serum its blue color.The serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper so you can carefully select the amount you want without wasting. This is a serum you do not want to waste! I have been using the serum by itself and I am really seeing great results. The Brightening Blue Oil Serum blends in very nicely and does not leave an oily residue behind. My skin looks very healthy and it brightens up my face for sure. The serum is also great for reducing sunburn and hyper pigmentation. I am very pleased with the benefits and results I am seeing. This has been a wonderful addition to my routine and I love knowing my skin is healing and being protected with the Brightening Blue Oil Serum.

National Lipstick Day 2018

          I celebrated by shopping all day. I grabbed my free MAC lipstick 💄 in Dare You. My store didn't open until 12pm but I arrived early and was towards the front of the line. It was a nice time waiting chatting with other beauty lovers like myself. I was very impressed with the selection of colors this year. Last year had some pretty wild colors that many people were not impressed with. Many felt it was leftovers that didn't sell well. I  picked the purple last year and actually really didn't mind the color at all plus hey free makeup is always okay for me and I like experimenting with colors I normally would not pick. This year had a great selection and had a lot of regular colors that were perfect for daily use. Next I stopped by Sephora since it was in the same mall and grabbed my free mask which will be my first time using one from the Sephora line. I got the Pearl face mask that is used for Perfecting & Brightening. After the mall I went to a few more store and scored some great deals below.

Skin Care Goals for 2018

Today is March 1 the start of the third month of the year. This year one of my goals was to really focus on doing the best for my skin. I am in my early thirties and realize now is the time to focus on my skin to ensure it will stay healthy,hydrated and looking good for years to come. My current skincare status is my skin never has enough hydration. Excellent hydration is one of the most important foundations to healthy skin. Neutrogena provided my with five free products from the Hydro Boost line to test out. Hydration is what I need so these products sounded like a perfect fit to try out. The Hydro Boost line is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is the ingredient I always look for when I am looking for a product to moisturize and hydrate.

Sample Society Warehouse Sale Box Review and Giveaway

Recently BeautyBar released Sample Society's mystery boxes. Sample Society is a monthly beauty subscription from Allure magazine and BeautyBar. These were packs of 10 leftover subscription boxes. This was a great deal and I got 10 total boxes for under $40. I also went through ebates and got cash back so it was a huge score! The subscription is $15 a month for a regular subscription. It averages about five samples in each box. Some even full sized as you see below.This is my package at arrival!

They come in really cute boxes that are great for storage or organizing.

They come with a mini magazine as well with makeup and skincare tips. There is also a card detailing all the samples plus it comes with a $15 off code for a full sized product of any item in the box.

This was one of the boxes in my shipment and I loved it. I am a huge fan of Butter London so this was such a hit of a box for me.

This is another box in my shipment which included another Butter London product. These were full sized so they retail for $15 each so I definitely got a great deal with the warehouse sale.

I was so exited when I got picked to do the Mary Kay box. I LOVE make-up so this was such a great box to get. I am already a huge Mary Kay fan as they have such great quality items. This is the Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara. The color is called I love black. This mascara is amazing. Mascara is my number one go to must have beauty item. No matter what I have to wear mascara everyday or I just don't feel right! I love how well this separates my lashes and does not clump. It also adds great length to your lashes so your eyes really stand out when using it. The retail value is $15.

The second item is the Mary Kay Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush

I love that this brush is made for cream products, and it works with any cream make up product you have. I don't like to use my hands when apply product since it adds oil to your face so this is such a great tool everyone should have.The bristles are very soft and it works really well. The third item is Mary Kay Lash Primer

This was my first time ever using lash primer so I was super excited to try it out. Since I am so in love with mascara I am shocked I had never used primer before. This is put on before you apply your mascara. I tired the mascara with the primer and without and I could tell the primer really helped with definition. I am now hooked on primer and added it to my routine. The retail value is $15.

The fourth item is Mary Kay cream eye color

I got the color violet storm. I love this color and think it is great for the summer. I have blue eyes so the violet looks great on me.I like that it is long lasting unlike some eye color. I didn't have to reapply any throughout the day which is a plus. This was perfect since they included the brush that is best used with this product.They have the cream eye color in a lot of colors so if violet isn't for you they have others to try out. The retail value is $22

The fifth item is Mary Kay True Dimensions Lip Stick

The color I got was Pink Cherie. This is a great fun girly color. I love it and in the summer with my tan it looks fabulous. This lipstick is very moisturizing and my lips felt great when wearing it. It is also long lasting which is a plus! The retail value is $18

FINAL THOUGHTS: This was a great box and perfect for the summer time. I love that I got to try out five full size quality Mary Kay items. They have quality products that last and wear well. Once again all the items are available at Mary Kay website.
